Law Abiding Citizen
He's just a law abiding citizen
but he says the law has failed him
so he's killing those who killed his kin.
We've seen this before, we'll see it again
Torture the bad guy; it's not a sin!
But I'm seeing a problem with this case
The whole thing is absurd on its face
Soft on crime, in the United States?
About as real as pigs in space
We've got prisons all over the place
Five percent of global population
Twenty percent of incarceration
This is not a lenient nation
but one that runs on desperation
don't trust your local TV station
House of Dynamite
We're a diverse team of competent professionals.
When the shit hits the fan,
all stations are manned,
we follow the plan,
keep a steady hand,
there's no need for that final confessional.
So maybe we didn't anticipate every contingency
we gave it a try
Our one shot went awry
now Chicago might die
we don't even know why
But we're still calm in the face of catastrophe
Too bad none of this is remotely authentic
we are under the rule
of racists and fools
and tyrants and ghouls
who went to fancy schools
but who couldn't even handle a pandemic
Joker: Folie à Deux
Good morning Arthur Fleck,
we have a question for you.
Why did you kill that man on TV?
Nonconforming Arthur Fleck,
we've a suggestion for you.
You must decide now, who you will be?
Joker is the showman,
you wish you had his fame.
But don't you know he's going to fry?
Fleck, you are a no man,
clownish, awkward, and lame.
Are you ready and willing to die?
Sing and dance, Arthur Fleck,
try to amuse the crowd.
You didn't give people what they want.
You took a chance, it's a wreck.
It's no use, you're disavowed.
You're no Joker, no criminal savant.
