The stories we tell ourselves reflect both who we are and who we want to be. For more than a hundred years the motion picture has been one of the primary ways we tell stories. Even now, in our current age of YouTube videos and 30 second TikToks, movies play a central role in diverse cultures all over the world.

I like to examine films not just for than their entertainment value but also for what they say about the people who made them and the people for whom they are made. But I'm not here to cosplay an ivy league professor and scold you for not eating your cinematic vegetables. I love movies, art and writing so I'm here to post art, write about movies and kick ass. And I'm all out of ass.
